We are excited to announce that work has begun on the next phase of our Capital Campaign projects. We are in the process of converting several of the old school classrooms into 2 large meeting spaces and some new office space. When complete, the next phase will include a large Gathering Space in church, more seating in church, new Mulligan Room, more meeting space, and enhanced school and church entrances for increased safety. This work will be happening in segments so that we can maintain use of the church with minimal disruption. Your support of the Capital Campaign will help make all of this possible!
Dear Parishioners,
After weeks of preparation, we are getting closer to the parish-wide kickoff of our campaign, Celebrating our Faith – Continuing our Vision. Within the next few weeks, every family in the parish community will receive a packet of information including a brochure detailing the campaign goals and building projects, as well as a letter from me which includes a financial request and instructions on how you can invest in the future of Presentation.
In advance of the mailing, I want to express several thoughts regarding this campaign and what is being asked of our families:
Please continue to keep our parish in your prayers and ask God’s blessing upon us.
Many Blessings,
Fr. Tom
The campaign planning study indicated that our parish can raise between $4,000,000 and $5,000,000. We will address our needs in a tiered approach:
$4 million Celebration Goal
Reaching this milestone allows us to fund projects in both the school and the church. First, we will complete the two-story school addition. Once the classrooms have been relocated to the addition, we will be able to reconfigure the current gathering space and Mulligan Room to create a more open and welcoming gathering space, create a new Mulligan Room, and increase seating capacity in the church.
$5 million Challenge Goal
At this milestone, we will be able to renovate the former classrooms into parish meeting space. We will also relocate the school’s administrative offices to the north side of the complex, resulting in one secure school entrance.
$6 million Vision Goal
After fulfilling the first two campaign milestones, reaching this goal will allow us to enlarge and upgrade the parish/cafeteria kitchen. The final project of this campaign with be to enclose the school courtyard into an indoor educational and meeting space for school and parish use.
