Middle School Youth Ministry
Grades 6-8: Come join the fun and excitement as we revamp and grow our Youth Ministry program. Our goal is to provide a variety of opportunities for youth to choose from and become involved in. Join us as we build community through fun events such as Lock-Ins, Bowling, Hayrides, Sports nights and more. . Share and grow in your faith as you participate in small groups. Worship together and share your gifts at the 4th Sundays Contemporary Masses at noon. Give to others while sharing your gifts through a variety of service experiences. Registration is in August. Middle School Youth Ministry is open to registered members of our parish or those attending Our Lady of the Presentation School.
First Reconciliation and First Eucharist
Those preparing for the sacraments must be registered members of our parish or attend Our Lady of the Presentation School. Registration is in August.
Reconciliation and Eucharist Preparation: In the fall, students prepare to experience the Sacrament of Reconciliation (confession). The typical age for reception of this sacrament is second grade. Parents prepare their children for sacraments with the support of their classroom teachers. Parents whose children are enrolled in the Children’s Faith Formation Program or attend Presentation School will be notified of meeting times, dates, etc. by email. Information may also be obtained by request from the Children’s Faith Formation Office. Children take part in the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to First Eucharist (cpommunion). In January, parish children begin preparation for celebration of the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist. The Sacrament of First Eucharist is celebrated during special liturgies between Easter and Pentecost.
