STEWARDSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT

Stewardship Prayer
Lord God, inspire in all of us—members of your church
to recognize your call and be willing to respond to that call.
Help us to always remember that we are your hands and feet in our world.
May we be good witnesses of Christ in the midst of our everyday lives— in our families, in our professions, in our social interaction, in our parish,
with our friends and with the strangers that we meet along the way.
Give us the grace to be good stewards of the many gifts you have given us.
May we, in gratitude, live our lives in service to you.
May your love radiate from our lives.
Amen

Events Committee: This committee hosts events each year to foster parish community. These events include the Spaghetti Dinner & Variety Show in June and the Quarter Raffle in October. In January, the committee coordinates the “Crazy Cash” raffle.

Planned Giving Committee: Planned Giving Seminars are offered each year in conjunction with the annual Stewardship Renewal. These seminars educate parishioners about the importance of financial planning that will allow them to leave a legacy for both their families and their faith community.

Parish Community Committee: Members on this committee organize and implement parish gatherings which foster a sense of parish community. The committee hosts Divine Donuts the third Sunday of each month after all weekend Masses; the Young Families of Presentation which provides the opportunity for parents with preschool and elementary aged children to gather together; facilitates Women’s Ministry within the parish; and hosts an annual Family Game Night for parish families.

Stewardship Committee: The Stewardship Committee supports stewardship as a way of life by fostering an awareness within our faith community of God’s call to share our gifts. Members support the Annual Stewardship Renewal of time, talent and treasure, host the annual Ministry Celebration and annual Leadership Breakfast, Nametag Sunday, and the delivery of baskets to new parishioners. Members also call and thank those involved in ministry and invite parish members to share their gifts.

Welcoming Committee: Members of this committee host a potluck dinner year to welcome new parishioners and acquaint them with parish ministries. The dinners also provide an opportunity to meet the Pastor, parish staff and fellow new parishioners.
