ORGANIZATIONS

Adult Bible Study:
Adults are welcome to join the Adult Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 p.m. to share the Word of God in a small group setting. Contact is Brad Knipp, 816-525-9321.

Divine Donuts:
Divine Donuts is an opportunity for parishioners to share fellowship. Hosted by the Parish Community Committee, Divine Donuts is the third weekend of the month after all Masses.

Holy Donuts:
Tuesday mornings with “Holy Donuts” is a popular weekly gathering at Presentation. Join us after 8:15 a.m. Mass in the Mulligan/Scheer room for delicious donuts, pastries, coffee and fellowship with others.

Knights of Columbus Council #6819:
Knights of Columbus  is a Catholic men’s organization (age 18 or older) that promotes charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. The K of C meets the second Tuesday of the month at various locations. There are many parish events that   members of the K of C support including: parish breakfast on the first Sunday of the month (October through April), Las Vegas Night and many more special events.

Monthly Bridge Bunch:
The “Bridge Bunch” meets the third Monday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the Mulligan/Scheer room. New bridge players are always welcome. Contact person: Joann Wilkinson, 816-478-8215.

Presentation Play Group:
The Presentation Play Group is open to moms and caregivers of children ages infant to Pre-K. The group meets the second Wednesday of the month at various locations. Notices of upcoming events are published in the bulletin. Contact person: Jane Krawczyk, 816-251-1119.

Rosary Group:
The Rosary Group prays the rosary every Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the church. Contact person: Kathy Hilbert, 816-525-3344.

Scouts:
Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts: Presentation Parish is the home of Boy Scout Troop 391 and Cub Scout Pack 391. Troop meetings are Monday evenings, 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. in the Scout Room located on the third floor of the Yellow House. Senior Saints:
The Senior Saint Ministry at Presentation is dedicated to providing our cherished members who are senior citizens with opportunities for ministry, prayer and social connections within the parish. Our parish is rich with a wide variety of programs and other opportunities for involvement. Contact: Mary Pat Storms, 816-251-1113.

Sports for Adults and Youth: 
Presentation Parish offers a variety of sports programs for adults and youth in the parish.
Adult Volleyball:
Adults (college age or older) are invited to play volleyball on Sunday nights at 5:30 p.m. in the gym. Contact persons: Mike and Jackie  Chamberlain, 525-6658.
Men’s Basketball:
Men ages 21 & older are invited to play basketball Wednesday evenings at 8:30 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 8:00 p.m. in the gym. Contact person: Justin Collet, 816-434-5912.
Youth Sports:
Boys and girls are invited to play parochial league sports to include flag football, basketball, volleyball, and track at Presentation. Registration information for all, winter and spring programs is published in the parish bulletin. Contact person: Tim Waris, 816-373-1102.

St. Cecilia Guild:
The St. Cecilia Guild supports Presentation’s Music ministry. Meetings are the second Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m. The Guild hosts the annual Chocolate Festival in February. Contact person: Marty Snyder, 816-525-2596.

St. Joseph Guild:
The St. Joseph Guild activities focus on prayer, service and  socializing. The Guild raises funds for parish and community groups, serves funeral lunches and assists with many parish events. They meet the first Thursday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Contact person: Mary Annette Frisbee, 816-623-3509.

Women’s Ministry:
The Parish Community Committee hosts a Fall and Spring women’s retreat and a women’s prayer service near Mother’s Day. Information about these events is published in the bulletin. Contact person: Jane Krawczyk, 816-251-1119.
